    I had a Z28 that started doing that and it turned out to be the rear end. My differential gasket had blown and all the fluid drained out. I ended up having to replace the rear end.

    My o/r X caused my gas mileage to increase. In fact, my GT gets more mpg than my wife's 5 spd. V6 stang. :shrug:

    That's what I have on my car (40 series flows, not the spinners) and I love the sound. Be prepared for posts that will tell you flows sound like ass and you are a red neck for buying them. Trust me though, you will like them once they are on.

    Weld in after market mufflers will make your car sound better than adding an X to the stock exhaust. I welded in flows before I put in my o/r x.

    I have a phenolic intake spacer and I did not notice any great gains, but I did notice better throttle response, which made it worth the $25 bucks to me.

    Yes, mine came with that piece. The gasket for the passenger side I had to buy from Ford..cost around $7 I think.

    87, 89 or 91-93 all run about the same in my GT...actually it runs best with 89 or 87. My wife's '00 V6 Stang pings badly with anything under 89. Only mods are duals and Densecharger :shrug:

    If you have a shop vac you might want to try and suck any excess water out from your spark plug area, etc. Also, try letting the car idle for 30 minutes or so.

    You shouldn't have any trouble if you weld in Flows (or similar). When I still had the factory mid pipe I had some flows welded in with no trouble. Once I bolted in the UPR o/r X, it was still not a problem. By the way, with UPR o/r X and Flows, your stang will scream at WOT. :nice:
