    it's going to be valve seals... my 01 cobra had a valve seating problem (like many of them did) and it only blue smoked when i was in high rpms... if it was the rings you would have blue smoke almost all of the time because your oil shooter will shoot the oil right by the rings causing it to...

    take the drum off and visually inspect the drum to see if their are any scars/scratches on it... take a look at the pads to see if any the rivets came out... even check the springs and self adjuster to make sure they all have proper tension..

    well i redid my entire suspension and the only spots that is really rusted is on the actually body after the rear.. basically just around the gas tank and spare tire on the body.
