    I'd just drop the trans out of the car, then bolt the bell to the motor and slide the trans into the bell. Almost painless if you know how to do it. Leave the motor droop so the trans slided up into the bell. JAmie

    Got it home the other night. Well worth the money, boat looks like new on the inside and has some minor smudges on the vinyl graphics. Already pulled the sterndrive apart and reset to linkage so it has reverse now. Hope to have it on the water by Friday. Jamie

    Motor hits wall at 5000RPM (power loss)

    First try regapping the plugs to about .040". Worked wonders on my friends '88 TC 5.0 conversion with an A trim. Thing fell on it's face at 4500rpm acting like it was popping out the TB, but it was loss of spark. He replaced the plugs and had them gapped to .054 with a crane ignition. Jamie

    vortech boost problem

    Also realise you lose a lot of boost with heat. Winter gives me almost 9psi and summer gives me 5-6psi... Belt tension typicly just hurts the belt or bearings. Jamie
