    Anyone bought from MGW lately??

Yea, they are closed along with soo many other companies. Most close for the end of the year for inventory and tax reasons. We stayed open, and only closed Christmas day and tomorrow we will be closed. It has been hectic for us too, lots of shipment delays. Last week UPS picked up until...

    doch cfm head flow?

Stockers are about 250-260 intake at max lift and about 200 exhaust. A nice ported set will net you about 320/260.

    First time Mustang owner

bigcat pretty much took the words out of my mouth. If you're looking for performance, a Cold Air Intake Kit and a tune will give you at worst 15-20 hp. The gears are another nice mod, which don't give you horsepower, but greatly improve your acceleration in exchange for some top speed (pretty...

    Wiper problem

Maybe the switch has a bad connection in it, or the same with the motor. Did this all the sudden happen, or after doing something?

    1997 cobra or a 2001 GT

I'm supposed to remain objective, but it's really hard to disagree with that statement. I've got a 1998 Cobra that I'm never going to let go of... turns heads everywhere and is arguably one of the best looking mustangs ever made.

    P0174

I'd guess it's your o2 sensor throwing the error. With the car being 11 years old, those o2 sensors go pretty quickly. My GF's 97 Ranger just threw that code about 3 weeks ago, tossed on a new o2 sensor, cleaned the MAF... problem solved. New o2's go for about 85 bucks, give or take a few.

    Best shifter for a T45

I believe it's a toss-up between the Steeda Tri-Ax and the MGW. Both are great shifters and a massive improvement over the stock shifter.

    Intake torque pattern

15-20ft.lbs start in the middle, do one bolt on one side, then the other on the other side. Work you way out, the thermostat bolts are the last two. Get them progressively and uniformly tight before you get them all to spec. The aluminum crossover will be better and no problem.

    Reviving my baby

So, you know the heads were damaged? If not, a good disassembly and inspection will tell you what you can do to fix it. Kinda hard to imagine what happened.

*New Purchases* + Questions and Opinions welcome!

Very Nice Chris! That Cobra pump is more than enough, and is reliable, which is not something said about most aftermarket oil pumps. You did a great job putting this motor together on a budget! Proves you don't have to drop serious coin to play, just have to be patient, and be ready to jump on...

    4.6 buildup

Really decide on what you want/can do with it. Short of pulling the motor and taking it apart, putting in a set of blower cams will help alot, along with some long tube headers. The motor is not doomed for HP. There is lots of potential, but gets expensive with head porting, oversize...

    Vortech Pulley advice

The 3.6 is good for 8-9psi at 6000rpms with a powerpipe. The 3.2 is good for 12-13 psi at 6000, but is a bit much generally for the stock motor. It can and has been done, but the tune needs to be spot on. Just make it a bit richer and pull some timing up top. And hang on..lol
