    valve cover gaskets???

    If the bolt pattern on the new heads is the same as your old ones and you can reuse your valve covers just reuse those gaskets as long as they are pliable (sp?). It will be grey and narrow and fits in a groove in the valve cover.

    How to weld mufflers

    Its supposed to be 2.25 but its not mandrel bent so its anywhere from 2-2.25 in spots. When I welded mine in I had to expand the pipes going in and coming out of the muffs so I could weld it.

    T5 vs T45....

    If you can get a T-5 with the right bellhousing do it or you can get a TKO. You can beef up the T-5 but with a T-45 you are left in the cold on parts. G-force makes all kinds of stuff for the T-5 but with a T-45 the only thing you can upgrade is the 3-4 shift fork and thats a ford piece.

    There are several of them around here that run anywhere between 13.5-11.5. Beware though it doesnt take much to get them into the 12's.

    No I believe that .070 and is the minimum and .080 is target. The only real way to do it is to check with a solid lash adjuster and allow for .030 give or take a thousandth for rod stretch. Also they must be degreed.

    T-45 Rebuild Kit

    Correction D&D performance has the syncros for 149. Hanlon's basic kit is 175.95 which includes the seals. And the full kit which is bearings, seals blocking rings and all small parts in the tranny is 375.
