    6 or 8 bolt crank?

Why did your input shaft bearing come out if you were just doing a clutch/trans swap? The more friction surface is unnecessary unless you are making some serious power from a power adder and is the exact reason that the smaller surface area of the 10.5" makes it better suited for most...

    need new ecu..help!!!!

That part number is indeed off a 2004, but you have to be careful because Ford used different hardware platforms within the same model years. For example, on 2004 year models, in the middle of the year Ford switched from the MPC(15 C was the last one on that platform that I know of) hardware...

Stall Converter, do i need one..???

The tech told you to look into getting a stall converter and you drive a 5 speed???:D Torque converters go on autos.:)

    6 or 8 bolt crank?

Either way the 10.5" is the way to go. Whether or not you choose to re-surface the stock flywheel (not recommended) or use a new flywheel, the 10.5" clutch has less rotating mass, is easier on the pilot and TOB bearing and will perform better.

MY CAR LEAKED ABOUT A LITRE OF ANTIFREEZE LAST NIGHT, NEED HELP

My guess would be either a IM gasket or a heater hose since it's leaking that far back. The only thing that runs through the trans cooler lines from the trans to the stacked plate core (trans cooler) is transmission fluid. If the stacked plate core were damaged the engine coolant and trans...

    need new ecu..help!!!!

Well it's not quite that easy to compare the different PCM's by the PCM housing code or the year of the car. What's more important is the hardware platform type. 99's through 2001's use the MLC hardware platform and they are completely interchangeable with some tuning. The 2002's through...

    need new ecu..help!!!!

A lot of the popular performance shops will have a few stock PCM's lying around. Try giving a few of them a call. If you don't have any luck, try the salvage yard or the dealership. Maybe do some searching on some of the classifieds on other websites. What happened to your PCM?

Brand advice for a new blower belt

Both the Gates and Dayco belts are great for blowers. The Gates is probably the better of the two. The Dayco's are a little quieter like Gearbanger mentioned, due to their design. You can usually get either belt for about the same price.

    Torque Converter Lockup?

As long as everything was functioning properly before the gear swap, your TCC will still lockup. You just need to make sure to update your tire size/rear axle ratio in the VID of the PCM so that lockup will occur at the correct time. The PCM/EEC compares the turbine speed to the input shaft...

Codes Read: PO135 and PO136 ring up (02 sensor related)...questions inside?

It's possible that these codes are related, and it's possible that they are unrelated. The reason being is that the downstream(after cat) sensors are monitored for maximum and minumum voltage output whereas the upstream sensors are not. Both codes can be a result of a damaged wire, moisture in...

    Torque Converter Lockup?

The PCM/EEC knows the turbine speed of the converter and the input shaft speed of the trans. This combined with throttle position, engine load, vehicle speed, and gear selection, the TCC will be engaged or disengaged. The absolute only thing that will effect proper lockup is if you do not...

MY CAR LEAKED ABOUT A LITRE OF ANTIFREEZE LAST NIGHT, NEED HELP

Clearly you need to find the source of the leak. It wouldn't hurt to perform a system pressure test and see if the system holds pressure. It should hold at least 15 PSI. Pressure test the cap as well, it should hold at least 15 PSI as well. Heck you are a millionare, just take it to the...

    Procharger install Questions

You don't HAVE to re-install the stock pullies, because you can just run a smaller blower pulley. But, if it were me, I would re-install the stock pullies so that you can run a larger blower pulley. The bigger the blower pulley you can get away with the less the chance of belt slippage...

    6 or 8 bolt crank?

Not only is the 11" clutch not needed, it can cause problems. It can create alignment issues and will in turn be hard on both the pilot bearing and TOB bearing. And Rickey Bobbey is correct about identifying the number of crank/flywheel bolts.

    PTV Contact?

Yeah, but still there is no reason to drive around with the car untuned for that long. Especially if major modifications have been done, you stand a greater risk of hurting something being untuned than someone running it hard. It's common procedure to strap a fresh engine to the rollers and tune...

    High RPM and cast crank

The biggest enemy of a crankshaft is deflection, the constant twisting wavelike motion that the crank experiences. RPM is not nearly as destructive. Deflection is largely dependant on 3 load factors, peak cylinder pressures, rod/stroke ratio, and stroke. The greater the cylinder pressure and...

    many n.o.s. questions

The NX kits are pretty good. I have had good experience with their solenoids over the years. And the nice thing is you can send in your NX solenoids to NX or some dealers and they will inspect the solenoids for you at no charge. Some other N20 companies do this as well, but I have had the best...
