    Mallory Unilite module

some causes 1- You can't have the distributor plugged in when you charge the battery, 2- You can't jump start (with dist plugged in), 3-Be careful putting cap on. Keep cap even and do each clip. I "rocked" mine from side to side (one side is easier to clip) and toasted a cap and module...

    Printed circuit repair

Thanks guys. I used a 2 part plastic super glue to attach the copper, then scraped the copper with a razor blade to clean the contact area. I checked continuity over the copper surfaces and am glad to say my lights and gauges now work.

    TIMING QUESTION

try for 36-38 total Using a light with an advance dial, mark your TDC on the balancer, rev it up to 3k or so on the tach and start turning your dial until the marker and TDC line up and see what your reading is. Advance (turn rotor clockwise) or retard it (counter clock) until you end up with...

71 mach 1 - need front suspension advice

The 71-73 was designed to work with the 429 (1971) so you can use the big block factory springs. I lowered my 72 and put large (r) sway bars front and rear. I also have a 67 with a 460 and did the MII suspension conversion, mostly to gain room for the engine, not handling.
