    I used a motorcraft 180 t-stat with a housing from advance and it fit fine. mine also heats up to just under 210, im going to flush the system this week and see if it changes any thing.

    check with a ford dealer. I had the same problem with my car so I took it to a ford dealer and asked if they might have a key for the locks on my car. Turns out they did, they took them off for free and all I had to pay for was 4 lug nuts.

    The gauge reads 12v with the key on in the start/acc position and jumps to 15v while the car is running. Is this normal? I thought it was just supposed to read 12v all the time
