    How to get 500 RWHP??

Don't forget all the other things that add up real quick: Fuel system, MAF, Dyno tune, exhaust, tires, etc. 500 reliable rwhp and the word "budget" don't go hand in hand. The more effiecient N/A motor you have, the better boosted motor you will have. If you go with such parts as a bullitt...

    octane boost

"...You can use straight toluene but the a/f ratio on the car needs to be changed to compensate since the chemically correct A/F ratio is no longer 14.64:1. By adding about a half pint of acetone to 1 gallon of tolulene, it helps keep the stoich around 15:1...."

    octane boost

I copied this from another site: "Most of the fuel additives like Octane Boosters have no effect. They really don't add much octane to your fuel. If you read the label it talks about raising octane by points. After researching 3 different companies, the result was that they are playing a...

    AFR questions

Imyourzero - My father still has the Lightning. No recent mods, but his is thinking about sending his blower out to Apten to be ported. The Bird has a Trans-go shift kit, but its something I want to change out for a custom shift kit that's known as the J-mod. The engine should be laying down...

    AFR questions

Jordan, whats happening! Right now it's setup to be more of a highway assassin then a 1/4 mile killer. I made 2 "shakedown" runs down the track with it to see what kind of power it was making on the top end and went 13.7@107. That sounds horrible for the mods, but I'm actually very happy with...

    '05 testing on L.A. highway

The matter of the post was that Ford still has these "test" vehicles running around. Maybe I should have gave an explanation with the link. I guess I hoped to get a "why" discussion out of it. Sorry guys, I'm not an idiot.

    1 Chamber flows installed

Don't. You'll regret it on a street car. 2 chambers are bad enough with the drone. Plus, there's nothing like a 14sec street car sounding like it should run 9's

    Aftermarket 2v Heads

Several companies have done some R&D for 2V heads, but they deemed it too difficult to create a head with the HP to $ ratio that a consumer would be willing to pay. Basically there would be small gains for big money. When ported and combined with forced induction, 2V heads are supporting 1000+...
