    Is your friend torquing the lug nuts to 85-105 ft-lbs in a star pattern? If he is over or under torqing, it can cause the rotors to warp. Make sure he isn't getting any fluid leaking on the pads.     I really don't like the thin wire on the RCA plugs and I'm going to buy bare plugs and soldering them with thick wire. From what I remember the center part of the plug is the positive and the rim is negative. Is that correct?

    I just did this, get the Motorcraft PCV part. The ones they push in the stores have a 90 degree bend on the top. The hoses on my engine were hard and would not bend to fit.
