    See the Motorcycle?

I have several good friends that ride crotch rockets and wanted one myself until the other half vetoed that decision. I can tell you that they are very conscious about how they drive.

    New here.....

It also depends on your current skill level.... I needed to redo my front-end but was a neophyte at any sort of metal-work. So I started on the floor-pans and learned the basics through that before I felt comfortable enough to tackle anything that would be seen.

    Repro body parts

Well, I've bought sheet metal from CJ Pony Parts, but no body panels. The sheet metal is pretty good and the service is pretty good.

    Front End Dimensions

Hi All, I'm replacing the radiator support and the front fender aprons on my '69 and am looking for some dimesions to follow while installing this piece. I didn't get measurements before I took everything apart since the parts were bent significantly. I have a '68 in the back yard up on...

    Undercoating

I removed all of my undercoat with a couple of wire wheels. A nasty job that I'm glad is over with. Then I used Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator to help with those problem spots, then the Eastwood undercoat system. It is asphalt based, not rubber. If you're gonna use the undercoating system from...

    San Antonio Texas questions

Well, I would say that the better parts of San Antonio are the north to Northeast. Alamo Heights and the Almos Basin Area (make sure you get on the high ground around the basin) are really good areas with good schools. Of course I am biased since I grew up there. I don't remember seeing too many...

    San Antonio Texas questions

I grew up in San Antonio and am now in Arkansas.:( However, I applied for a job there and should hear back from the Company any time now. Where are you looking at working? There is plenty of land down there, the problem is that most of the 'city' is surrounded by suburbia and you won't find...

AN OPEN CHALLANGE -- Suspension Competition!!!!!

That't the problem, there is no tangible evidence to do research on... All info I've seen are manufacturer's claims and subjective consumer info. (of course, I can say I've done TONS of research because of this #$*ing dial-up:mad: ) A comparisson chart like Dodgestangs wheel fit chart would do...

AN OPEN CHALLANGE -- Suspension Competition!!!!!

Maybe the manufacturer's don't want a side by side comparisson because the facts will give customers too much information. If customers have hard data, we can say "It's not worth that much to me for this marginal gain in performance." While, right now, there is no hard data to speak of and many...

Installing a rear end easy or hard????

I just installed a new Currie 9+ under my mach and it's really easy. While The old rear was out, I used that opportunity to wire wheel the undercarriage, put a layer of rust encapsulator, and more undercoating on. That made it take a LOT longer than just the replacement.:D

    Structural Rigidity

That's my debate right now. I can either spend the serious $$$ to get a G-Force T5 or a Lentech Street Terminator Puls AOD, or get a TKO and possibly have to modify the tunnel. For the longest time, I was looking at the G-Force T5, but I haven't heard many good things about their customer...

    Structural Rigidity

So, if I don't modify the tranny tunnel, I have to modify my driveline angle which isn't the best thing to do. As far as the driveshaft loop is concerned, I'll add it to my things to do. Since I have the Global West SCs, I'll have to fab up my own and I need to wait to do that until I have...

    Baer or Wilwood brakes?

I don't know if you need the brakes immediately, but I bought a set of Baer track rears from CJ Pony Parts and It'll be 2 - 3 months before I get them in....

    Structural Rigidity

Does the '69 tunnel have to be modified for the TKO? It seems that the majority of information I've read talks about 65-68 tunnel mods. How would you go about doing this? Especially since I don't have a spare TKO that I can fit in to make sure that everything fits. What's the point...

    Structural Rigidity

Stringers? I've thought about running more metal from the subframe to the rocker panel before, but didn't know what they were called or if it would do any good. Are these run directly out from the subframes to the rocker panel? How hard are these to fabricate? Wow, that's a real good...
