    I believe you are referring to "tip-in." You'll have to just pull timing globally, as Diablo doesn't let you change that value specifically. I lowered mine down to almost nothing though, better throttle response and no pinging. Perhaps a bad tank of gas?

    Check Evan Smith's time in an SS from a few years ago. My favorite article is the WRX vs 03 Cobra. The WRX won by a tenth when the Cobra ran a 13.3...well driven C&D. Can you imagine how awesome the GT 500 would be if it were the size and weight of the fox's?

    Those of you with Mongoose kits

    Modularpowerhouse has their own forums. Fairly large, and they have an entire section with dyno graphs from the 300-400 range, which is what you'll be looking at. Tim claims that they have never lost a motor with the Mongoose kit, I have no reason to dispute that.

    Nice write up. Don't forget that anyone can install a centrifugal blower, but putting heads and cams on is a PITA.

    Really the best thing to do is call up Maximum. Everytime I've called them they've been helpful and honest. IMO, as long as you aren't using slicks the three piece urethane should suffice.

    (4.6L newb) rev limiter

    Just to back up what Jstreet is saying, the rev limiter on my car was 6050 stock. I wish the limiter pulled spark instead of fuel, but oh well. Hit the rev limiter once on spray and my intake is toast.

    My mom (all 5'0" of her) slammed my passenger door so hard that it kicked the window off the track. The WTF look on my face must have lasted for about an hour. I think that Keith Hernandez had it right, but he should have included mustangs in the mix.

    My brother has a hidden hitch on his 91 LX. Obviously power is not a problem with these cars. I'm worried about the weight on the back end though.
