    A/C Vacuum Motor Repair

So 2 out of the 4 vacuum motors for my factory a/c are not holding vacuum, which is causing my woes. All my air is blowing out of my heater duct at the floor. So I have both of them off and they will not hold any vacuum what-so-ever. Is there a way to repair them and get them working again...

    '68 A/C Trouble Shooting ?'s

So, it seems that no matter what setting I have the a/c controls in, the air blows mainly out of the floor ducts. Very little comes out of the dash vents and I can get nothing to blow out of the defroster ducts. Any ideas? Thanks,

    Need Help Finding Screw

Found it. Imagine playing Twister:fuss: The Evaporator coil was the original from the factory. Still had all the Ford stickers on it. The PO must have done some work do the box because it is sealed with some kind of gooey gray stuff. What a PITA it's going to be to get that off.

    68 steering issues

What about your steering box? If it is the original box, it probably needs a rebuild or you need a new box. Flaming River has brand new box for a decent price. When I rebuilt my steering, I changed everything, including the box and it is tite.

    67-69 Spindles

I can also tell you that the disc brake spindles from a '69 Torino will bolt right up to the v8 '68 UCA & LCA. This is how I converted my '68 from drums to disc. I picked up the complete spindles, calipers, & disc up off ebay for $70.

    SLPs Too Loud for Wife

So I installed some SLP Loudmouths on my '08 GT/CS Vert a few weeks ago. I love the sound they make and I'm not bothered by it at all. However; the wife thinks the car is WAY :mad:to loud now. So, I'm thinking about adding some resonators, say after the H-pipe, to quiet it down a little. Any...

    SLP Loudmouths In '08 GT/CS

Got the Loudmouths in from Brenspeed on Friday and I put them on the car today. Hardest part of the install was getting the driver side factory muffler out. But, with the WD-40 and some persuasion, it finally came out.:nice: Install was easy as pie and the fit was fantastic. Now she really...
