I just installed my Fluidyne radiator and when I tried to put on my upper Mac chrome radiator hose it was way off. I am talking about an inch or more to far to the right of the t-stat housing. Whats going on? Everything else when on smooth, it's like these hoses somehow grew. My stock rubber...
If you only have the alt, wp and crank then the tension rod doesn't look bad. If you have the ps/ac, the belt going from one side of the motor to the other with nothing to break it up looks wierd IMHO.
With the Scorpion rockers, you will need to remove the baffle completly. Without the baffles, the line from the tube to the TB will start to suck up oil. I just disconnected the line and ran an open breather. Like this one
I like my Typhoon, it makes good power and cheap to boot.
But I have to say, if i had the chance to swap it for a GT40 , I would. That intake looks sick.
I really don't see why it would look cheap. I have seen the import guys fiberglass those ram-air things onto their hoods, and it looks like a custom hood.
Good quality fiberglass hoods are not that light.
I would do a compression to see how that motor is running. With 55k compression should be very strong. If the body is in good shape and motor runs good I’ll pay the $800. Offer him $500 and see what he says, worst he could do is say no.
Wow you must live in the world where money grows on trees. Getting a custom cam is the best choice, but my TFS 1 cam was $130 as opposed to $350 for a custom cam. Plus time was not on my side, I didn't want to wait weeks to get my cam.
I am not bashing the B-cam, but like everyone has...
:Word: Or I took one of my heads to Lowes and find the right bolt and plugged. Thats the way I did them because I was in a hurry. If I had time I would of ordered the thread inserts.
On my combo it rips. With my car idling(700rpms) I can instantly incinerate my 245s. I agree at 3,000 it kicks in hard, but this combo pulls just as hard down low as my ported E7/stock cam combo did.
I loved when I dumped my flowmasters for about a month, the sound with an o/r x-pipe was awesome. But then my car started to reek of exhaust fumes. On long trips with the rpms at 2500 I almost went deaf. At WOT the dumped flowmasters sounded killer, but driving around town with the tailpipes on...
My stage 1 rips from idle to 6000rpm, so does 2 other cars I know. I wonder if the people who say the stage 1 loses tq have a mis-match combo?
I have to agree with Mustang5L5, TFS stage 1 > B303. And Foxfan88, I speak from experience.
