Buying a 95 gt need, please help

Dude thats good power. Like swarzkopf said, thats more like 350 flywheel, on pretty normal aftermarket parts w/only 306ci's. A 5.0 with 300 n/a rwhp and 3:73/4:10's will run in the 12's all day on pump gas, and can be driven daily. I don't want to affend you, but have you ever driven or...

    Possibly buying a '94 5.0 with 186K ...

If the body and interior are in EXCELLENT shape, I say go for it. Stock 94-95 complete motors go for VERY cheap. I even remember a guy a while back selling a 80k mile 95 cobra complete motor on ebay and it went pretty cheap, considering it was a cobra motor.

Buying a 95 gt need, please help

It sounds like an excellent combo IF he is being 100% truthful, but there is no way it will make 400hp. It could definatly make 300+ to the wheels, and run 12's all day, but 400hp is out of the question w/o nitrous/blower.

    stang being sold

I'd say go for it. However, I will say don't settle for a cobra with higher milage. Yours is an auto (I know what you mean I really wish mine was a was a 5-spd), but it is a newer, very nice car. You wouldn't want to jump into the cobra and be half way to 100K miles IMO.

Thanks 5.0 mustang and Super fords magazine!!!

The article should have talked about how our cars give you all the updated good qualities of the sn95's, but retain the loveable 5.0. If your gonna be modding the hell out of a fox or an sn-95, your gonna need a complete custom tune anyways, so I don't see the big deal with the computers...

    2.3 vs 5.0?

Yeah, this is really true. Stock 2.3l's are not performance vehicles. Stock 5.0's are not all that fast by today's standards, but stock 5.0's are still competitive. Mid 14's from a near 20-year-old car is damn solid. I'm not at all dogging the 2.3's. Let's just be real here. They are damn...

    Problem w/ 95 5.0 AODE Tranny

I thought I was nearing the end with my AODE last summer. I took her to the track, and she slipped on me real bad when I tried to launch the car. I was beating on it trying to make it out to the track before they closed, and it was real warm and humid outside. When I got there, I ran the...

    Intake Question

I like the trick flow intakes. I'm hopefully going to be putting mine on next week. I think the TFS intake is the best combination of looks, price, and performace out there.

    just got my new rims!

They look excellent, but the tires could be alot bigger. Those rims look outstanding, but the tires look streched to fit the rims. 295's outback, and 275's upfront like 2003gt said would look great. Those tires + a 1 1/2 inch drop would look very impressive.

    3.27 or 3.55's...???

:nice: For DD cars, this is 100% correct.
