    Did MSD ask to see one of the boxes back? I'd send them one and see what they say is the cause of death. I've had a MSD for a long time and just about 3-4 months ago my altenator just about caught fire. Don't have a clue to why, but bought a new one and everything has been fine since then...

    I was leaving at about 2k and slipping the clutch while rolling into the throttle. Speed shifted 2nd and 3rd around 5k rpm. Just recently found out that my tach is a little further off then what I thought, so your going to have find your shift points. Definitly do the "10 min" tune up. Helps...

    Welcome. The Mustang takes a little getting used to launching out the gate (no more rev it to the moon and let AWD carry you away), but once you master it I'd guess a mid 14 to be pretty good for bone stock. Good luck....

    I deleted my air pump and ran the stock belt for a while (tensioner took up all the slack). Got a new (shorter) belt after original one started to fray and got under drives on. Just take a piece of string and run it around pullies till it reaches where you started, cut it so that the two ends...

    Excellent job (and a great write-up, you should do this into a tech article). The idle will come around. I ended up disconnecting the battery 5 times (once a night) until the computer decided to "accept" the cam. Idles halfway decently now. Numbles - I've done this by myself (over 3 days)...
