    Mustang II Member's rides

Dano, thanks for the last line, you're right but as everyone else, the cash flow hasn't been there. I'm plugging away on the small things though. After seeing all the nice IIs on this site (and others) it sure puts a fire under one to "GET TO WORK". Here's a picture I did of what I'm hoping...

    Nice PhotoShop Restyle

front flares are cut out of late 80's escort fenders and most of the back flares are cut out of 80 something AMC eagle fenders. All's been but welded together. The back flares are the second set on it, I cut the first hand formed ones off because they just looked too big. What was done to...

    Nice PhotoShop Restyle

I like the whole thought process, no roof, raised & flared wheelwells, thinner bumpers, reworked nose...I'm only planning 15" wheels though. RII

Thickness of the sub frame metal?

Russ, I've done sheet metal replacement on many cars and my MIG welder is a 110 unit and any sheet metal up to 1/8" thick is not a problem. There is no metal on a unibody car that a MIG welder can't handle. Just make sure you use Argo while welding. Good luck. RII

    Bumper Tuck

the back looks good for depth, on the sides, I'd trim it so the side marker shows. Up front see what you can do with tucking the stock bumper like you did out back. If anything, it won't cost anything to see what you think. rII

    Roadster by RoadsterII

thanks guys, good eye 393 boss, the AC cobras had much to do with the look I was after. yep, that's the sketch that started the whole roadster concept. If only I knew how much time I was getting into with the project. I have changed many things on the body of the car as I've worked on it...

    Mustang II Member's rides

david, I'm going to raise the nose about an inch to match the angle of the headlight buckets. I think the center is low also. The valance is all sheetmetal, I just haven't ground down the welds on the top of it and primed it all. rII
