    Pulley Install

The stock bolt is torque to yield and must be replaced each time it's torqued. If the keyways wasn't siliconed properly, you need a new bolt. ARP makes a replacement bolt that is stronger and can be reused.

journey to 12sec/NA GT... Almost there!

Exactly. I guess my Bullitt needs to hit the track to pull a 12 so this argument is over. :D I'd be hard pressed to hit a 12 though until the gears are in.

    Egr?

To clarify, EGR under warm cruise adds timing so it must be compensated out in the timing tables. The lean condition is simply a function of the air coming in versus the former air (exhaust). There's no direct calibration needed for this, it's just a matter of backing off the timing under...

    Battery relocation

We just did the Steeda relocation kit in our '96 Cobra with a Vortech. We were making room for the Boost Cooler. The full install article should be up in a week or so. Positioning the box and drilling the mounting holes is really the only part that takes any time. If it's your first, figure on...

    Egr?

A little leaner, true, but not dangerous. It is important to note it does change the A/F ratio for thosae running on the lean side anyways. They can be pushed into dangerous territory. The stock calibration maps can't compensate for no EGR on their own as EGR is mapped into them.

journey to 12sec/NA GT... Almost there!

A 12 second GT isn't that hard to do. A freind with a Bullitt with pulleys, exhaust,SFC's,gears and DR's ran a 13.3. This is full weight and the guy had never been to the track with a stick car before. Put some LCA's on and disconnect the sway bar and he'd hit the 12's. A GT only need a...

What is The best aftermarket shifter for Tremec 3650

Like it says above, anything is better than stock. The best things to do is go to a sow or race or something and feel a few different ones to find one that has a throw and position you like. The most popular are the Tri-Ax and MGW. A lot of people don't like how the Pro-5.0 sits in the car...

    Egr?

Doing this will cause you to most likely run lean under most normal driving conditions. You need to remove EGR from the computer cal not just turn off the light.

Can anyone recommend a better CAI

The DeMolet, JLT, and k&N are the only ones I can honestly recommend. You want something plastic that flows well and looks good. DeMolet will soon offer custom painted systems too!

first two mods and a question

Agreed. Both mods work well, and they can be additive also as your budget allows. One thing we're working on too is porting out a stock plenum and TB, but we need someone in the Detroit area to dyno test it for us. I want to see how that compares to the aftermarket units.

    Egr?

If anyone has ever seen the inside of an intake you'd hate EGR as much as I do. Over the miles of driving the car, EGR leaves a nice buildup of carbon all over every internal surface. This helps restrict the intake tract and ports of the heads. Not only that, but the EGR valve and piping...

first two mods and a question

What? The Accufab is awesome. I'm not knocking it at all. My point is that too many people that don't understand that MD test are citing it as gospel. All that test shows is that all fall at almost the exact same HP when you take the dyno data scatter into consideration. That's about all...

    04gt 3650 Oil Change

All 3650's had Mobil1 and they all have issues. Sticking with Mobile 1 isn't a bad choice, but there are better options.

In this one test the Accufab did make more power, but in reality all ended up even.

first two mods and a question

We got 11.3hp and 8.5 ftlbs from a TB/plenum combo on an 04GT with the stock intake tract, so you may see a tick over that but not much http://www.stangpro.com/html/articles/dragon.htm

    04gt 3650 Oil Change

Factory fill is Mobil1. Unless you use Royal Purple, Amsoil or Red Line you can almost expect to have shift problems or noise as the 3650 has some issues. Fluid swap procedure here: http://www.stangpro.com/html/tutorials/other/transfluid.htm

    oil leak with my vortech?

The feed line is pressurized, so it may have sprayed a little if the leak is bad enough.
