Help us GT500 MSRP Buyers out...

With so many of these out there, they'll be below MSRP by next year at this time.

John Hennessey’s Shelby GT500 upgrades info??

I've heard from several Viper owners horror stories. One guy went to pick up his car and his hood was on another car. All second had info, but I don't doubt any of it.

need help. 70mm vrs 75 mm tb.

The only mass produced intake manifold out there that I've seen is the Professional Products part. It will add power, but you do not need it with a plenum. The parts on the intake can all be swapped out independantly. If you do a plenum/TB/and CAI, you will notice it. I can't remember what...

What? I'd like to see you prove this out. Any changes this insignificant after the meter won't affect A/F.

    Steering shafts?'s

The FR shaft give little to no extra clearance. You have the stock K-member still?

    Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks

No they will possibly help launch better than stock, but without knowing the forces an owner can't know that for certain. My point is that even calling them 50/50, 70/30 etc is very deceiving and doesn't give anyone enough info to make a purchase decision. Not that they won't help or improve...

    Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks

Seriously...read the link above. The numbers are a reference, but you can two 90/10's from different manufacturers (or even worse, the same...) and they'll be completely different parts/rides. Sure, you'll get more weight transfer with more force pulled out of the rebound side, but how much...

    Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks

Argghhh! Please read above. those numbers are meaningless. They are the result of companies selling bs for years. A good drag shock depends on what percentage of the time the car is on the street versus track, and the car weight and traction/weight transfer characteristics. If you aren't...

need help. 70mm vrs 75 mm tb.

Almost any aftermarket plenum will net you the same gain, around 10hp. But based on price and looks as their performance is all so close. Not sure what you mean by your SC question

    Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks

Actually they are. Check your facts. At least they're as close as most of the misunderstood garbage that is sold as 50/50, etc. I worked in suspension development and prototyping for over 4 years. Here's all of the details...

    Lakewood 50/50 Drag Shocks

It will. The question is why you want to use it. The 50/50 naming is useless. Stock shocks are 50/50. What's your goal?

Do a plenum at the same time. Go 75. There is no performance difference at your power level, but with a few more mods the 75 is the better choice. There is no application where a 70 is recommended.

    ABS Light

Mine is dead too. I tried two scan tools and neither can even communicate with the ABS module. My guess is that it has a bad ground or is just dead. This ABS system seems to have one hell of a lot of people with problems with it just out of warranty.

Anyone else here lift, train MMA?

What styles do you train in, or how to you train? My goal is do go a year or two through Krav then learn ju-jitsu and start an MMA program (Krav/ju-jitsu based). I spar once or twice a week lightly. Looking to pick it up a little more. I had to go easy for a while as I stress fractured my...

    Pulleys: Steeda, March, Slp

That's actually horrible completely incorrect advice. In stock form this would be true. When you piggyback the crank pulleys though, you increase the dampers weight significantly and move the damper farther forward. This results in greater wear on the engine.

Anyone else here lift, train MMA?

I've been training in Ishyan Ryu, Mui Thai, and Aikido for a few months now and just started in Krav Maga besides my normal bodybuilding. Anyone else lift or train MMA?

    Pulleys: Steeda, March, Slp

We stock both, and that's how it looks to me. I think SLP realized the Steedas are excellent parts.

    Pulleys: Steeda, March, Slp

The dampers are all different materials and durometers too, so they have different dampening characteristics for the harmonics. What this means to you is each one makes your engine wear differently. Using anything but Steeda or SHM can lead to 70k rebuilds (worst case, but I've seen it).
