Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering Issue

Catted or not? If the X-pipe has no cats at least two of your codes (what are likely the cat efficiency codes) can be explained.

Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering Issue

Does the car have the original mid-pipe?

    Engine Codes

For mods that will increase airflow by marginal amounts you probably won't need a tune. Or if you do get one it will be for "optimizing" rather than because the car is running badly. For most driving conditions fueling is closed-loop (using feedback from the oxygen sensors) and so the system...

    Drivetrain Replaced Clutch, Now Dragging

The pilot bearing only supports the front of the input shaft. It won't be the source of your dragging problem. How much free play is there in the pedal? Any chance you installed the friction disc backwards?

    Fuel Pump Fuse Blowing

Final update: The BAP appeared to work fine on the bench so I reinstalled it to day and the car runs fine with the OE-size 20A fuse under the hood. Took it out for a rip and at 9psi the AFR was around 11-11.5:1 (sometimes went even fatter < 11:1) so everything appears to be working peachy. At...

    Fuel Pump Fuse Blowing

Took the BAP to work today and powered it on the bench from a 12V supply. Has a couple of amps of inrush current but unloaded it's only drawing 30mA and producing ~17.3V at the output suggesting the BAP may actually be okay. So the plot thickens a bit. Will try adding a motor load to it and...

    Fuel Pump Fuse Blowing

Looks like my BAP took a dump. If I removed the 30A fuse from the wiring near the BAP then fuse #14 doesn't blow telling me the wiring from the fuse block to the intertia switch is okay. I then bypassed the BAP in back effectively removing it from the circuit. Fuel pump ran, there was pressure...

    Fuel Pump Fuse Blowing

Went to get my 02 GT out of winter storage today. It has a Kenne Bell 1.7L 'screw and there's a BAP wired into the OE fuel pump. The car has had this configuration for many years now with absolutely zero issues. The car went into storage in late October of '15 and ran like a top. Today after...

    Unexplained Voltage Drop

Curious to know what the "bench test" of the battery consisted of. It sounds like the battery's reserve capacity is way down from where it should be, possibly due to sulfation of the plates. How old is the battery?

    Engine Fog Horn Sound

Yes. Look for gaps or looseness between parts of the intake, especially near the MAF flange. What you're hearing is the same effect you get when you blow across the top of a beer bottle and hear a resonance that sounds like a humming. You've got an open gap in your intake tract somewhere.

    Thoughts On The Sn95

I think how people will see these cars -- 94 all the way to 04 and perhaps a few years beyond -- will depend on what happens to Mustangs and muscle cars in general in the next few years. There's an honest simplicity to these cars that's entirely lost in the new ones. The new cars are all about...

    Loud Hum/fog Horn Sounds

Check to make sure the bolts at the flange of the MAF to the bent tube running into the fenderwell are tight. Is there a gasket at that junction? If not, find or make one from some thin neoprene sheet. The sound you're hearing could be caused by air passing past a "crack" in this or some other...

    02 Mustang Gt Feels Sluggish

If it revs but doesn't accelerate you may have issues with the transmission (auto) or clutch (manual.)

I'd start with the IAC valve for the idle speed issue.

Sounds like it's time for a compression test before doing anything else.

    What Happened?!?!?!

If you go with aftermarket LCAs be prepared for much more NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) from the rear end. The OE bushings are as soft and squishy as they are to quiet and dampen everything from gear- to road-noise getting into the cabin. LCAs with harder bushings with little give will...

    What Happened?!?!?!

Sounds like axle tramp (aka "wheel hop.") Can be exacerbated by the overly squishy OE LCA front bushings. "Quad shocks" are meant to dampen some of the fore/aft movement here; if they're gone you can get a bunch of undamped, essentially uncontrolled axle movement. Axle tramp can indeed break...

    Clutch Disc

re the clutch disc. Assuming the pressure plate and flywheel surfaces are flat you'd probably be okay. I'd take a Scotch brite attachment on a drill and lightly deglaze the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces to rough them up a bit and to remove as much of the old disc's material as possible.

Help!! Kenne Bell Installed Tuning Problems

Bucking under load sounds like a fuel pressure problem to me. What are you doing for fuel? A BAP on the OE pump? Are you certain it is wired correctly? Is it set to run all the time or are you using a Hobbs switch to trigger it? If the Hobbs, where are you getting the pressure signal from?
