    i get 12 volts on both sides of the coil so that is right right? okay i have replaced the coil, the tfi module, the distributor the rotor and the cap and i still have no spark i don't know what else to replace.

    replaced coil no change. is the positive and negative side of the coil suppose to have 12 volts? i ask cause mine does and i would think the negative side would be a ground.

    okay well i replaced the tfi module before i got your last post and still the same thing nothing. i will buy a noid light tommorrow and check the injectors. i can't thank you enough for all your help like i said this thing hasn't ran in a year. i will let you know what happens tommorrow.

    well i hooked the test ligt to the red and green wire going to coil then put the clip side of the light on the other wire green/yel coming off of coil tried to start it and the light didn't blink so i will replace the tfi tommorrow and let you know what happens thanks for the help i hope i did...

    okay i got a 87 mustang gt that hasn't started in about a year. i finally got the wiring fixed so the fuel pump works so now i have fuel and the engine will turn over strong all day but i have zero spark. i do have 12 volts going in to my coil. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Fuel pump not cutting on

    i have 12 volts on the red/blk wire. from looking at the diagram the only thing between the lt blue/orange wire and the pink and black is the relay. however i bought new one from parts store yesterday and put it on and still no power going to pink/black wire.:shrug:

    okay when i ground the test point i still have zero volts on the pink and black wire. also i dropped the tank and if i ground the one side of the pump and put hot lead on other the pump cuts on with no problems.

    okay i have 12volts at the fuel pump relay and 12 volts coming in and out of the inertia switch but no power at the fuel pump itself i am stumped where do i start to look from here. thanks for any help.
