    Not holding fuel pressure.

    I agree with RedLX about the fuel pressure regulator; best place to start. When you replace it, test the pressure drop off.

    I have a completely rebuilt 88TC motor with new large valves in the ported head, J&E forged pistons, Esslinger full floating rods, stage 3 turbo. Lots more 88TC parts too.

    The Cobra flywheel has an 8 bolt pattern, check it out before you order it.

    Good engine oil ?

    I use AMSOIL 5w-20 and their oil filter. Their oil filter is the best on the market. Filters to 4 microns.

    I have tha same thing. It has full length SFC's in the kit and the cross bracing too. You'll like what it does to stiffen the chassis.

    Cylinder 5 misfire?

    Swap the #5 COP with #6 and see if it gives a misfire code for #6; if so the COP is bad.

    Rack And Pinion, No pump?

    You will need to drain the fluid from the rack so you won't get a serious workout when truning the wheel.

    Before you put your cash down, you might want to have a long chat with the people that put it back together after it was wrecked and specifically ask about the mystery electrical woes and the ABS system.

    Never had trouble with my supercharged Expedition with full Bassani exhaust passing CA emissions. Also had 36# injectors, but did have to pull the NOS line to the intake tube.

    Gears for 01 cobra maybe????

    Most tuners/chips will tahe care of the ratio difference and give you more HP at the same time. When you change the gears, change the differential bushings to aluminum.

    I have an 88TC motor complete with about 1000 miles on a fresh rebuild. With the new stage 3 turbo it made 30# of boost. I have the complete SS exhaust too.

    Headers leaking!!!Are they worth the hassle???

    Header leaks To fix your leaks, replace the gaskets and use every stud (stock) that will fit. Usually the front and rear studs will fix most of the problems. We lived in CA and never had any problems with passing smog tests, especially on my supercharged Expedition with full Bassani...

    Years of interchange on the 2.3

    I have a recently rebuilt 88TC motor with a stage 2 turbo waiting for the chance to show off. It made 30# of boost and was awesome to drive before I pulled it.

    2.3 trubo

    You need to upgrade the fuel pump to handle the larger injectors.
