Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Check the connections you touched and all the vacuum connections close that you could have pulled loose.
Not sure you are supposed to clean your IAC that way but concentrate on the vacuum leaks.
You can purchase spacers. I think mine came with my CC plates but can't remember. I had lost one so I ordered more from Maximum Motorsports. They help bring the strut further into the engine bay for more normal strut travel.

I swapped my Mach 460 hu out a long time ago with an Alpine. The only thing you have to do is get the correct harness and use an adjustable output converter to match your new hu output to the stock amps. Crutchfield has them.
Swap the two upstream sensors and see if the code changes to Bank 2 Sensor 1. If it does, then sensor is bad, if not then there is something else that is triggering the code.
Like Max asked, is it turning over slow when it takes 15 cranks? If so, you're most likely not getting enough voltage to the starter or the starter is going out.
