    Roush Finally Dynoed 2003 S-281SC

Peak Performance and PBJ did my manifold and will be doing the rest of my motor. Give Joe a call. His number is 636-375-3151. He can email you pics of the before and after. It is quite amazing.

    Roush 02 Dynoed

I don't have an S4 but I can tell you there will be another S2 in the mid 400rwhp range very soon.

    Roush Finally Dynoed 2003 S-281SC

Your numbers are great but you must lower your A/F unless you plan on rebuilding your motor in the very near future. 14.1 is suicide in anyone's book... 12.5 max and maybe less since you are considereing some other serious mods with the stock motor. Stiegemier is good but the guys that did...

    Roush Finally Dynoed 2003 S-281SC

The guys I know with your mods and S4's are not getting 350/350 without the mods you talked about adding. Infact, the only S4 guys that make more power than you have a ported manifold and have sealed the ic. If I were you I would consider both. I picked up big gains from both.

    Roush Finally Dynoed 2003 S-281SC

Be careful running lean... The rings can't take it very long and neither can the pistons. Your numbers are great but I would lower the A/F. You may lose as much as 10rhwp but you will be thanking yourself later. I would have guessed dyno numbers around 320rwhp-330rwhp with your mods.

    Roush saleen series II BLOWER

It depends how far you want to go. With just the blower and a tune you will be in the low 300rwhp range. The most powerful S2 I know of made 460rwhp (Super Street from TX) but his was pretty crazy. My S2 will be in the low 400rwhp range when I am finished with porting the heads, manifold, blower...

    Roush 02 Dynoed

Start with the motor... 03/04 cobra motor would be ideal. Then add cams and heads. Next up add a Whipple 2300 or KB 2.2. Then if you are really crazy and as a last resort, NOS. Then start lowering the weight of your car. Remove the spare, traction control, AC, rear seat, K member, replace...

    Roush Saleen Specific Parts FS

I know this isn't the "for sale" section but I know some of you may be looking for these parts and would never find them in the regular FS section because there are only a handful of us saleeners. I have recently upgraded a few items on my 2001 S281SC Saleen. I have the following parts for...

    Roush 02 Dynoed

It depends on what you call crazy :) Porting the heads, building the motor, adding a 2300 whipple... The shop that did my manifold did an excellent job. They usually work on vipers but made an exception in my case. I wouldn't go any further than the inlet kit, porting the blower and manifold...

    Roush 02 Dynoed

Those are great numbers. Now it is time for you to port the manifold and the blower and add the S5 inlet kit. I'm guessing you can add another 40 or 50 rwhp with these addtions...

Roush 04 S281 SC with Cobra motor??

So what is wrong with Sean Hyland (S/H)? The 03 Cobra motor I am looking at has S/H stage three heads and cams.

Roush 04 S281 SC with Cobra motor??

So tell me... If I install a race prepped S/H 03 cobra motor in my 01 281SC, will I be hurting my resale value? I thought this was a no brainer. Stock GT motor vs. built cobra motor? Who wouldn't rather have a cobra motor? I know which one I would like.

Roush Any built motors with the S2 blowers out there?

Thanks for your imput guys. This is good to know. I'm not sure why but I always thought the S2 was too weak to warrant a built motor. It sounds as though I was mistaken. I have found a couple links where guys have added a smaller pulley and not upgraded the fuel pump and ended up with a...

Roush Any built motors with the S2 blowers out there?

Any built motors with S2 blowers out there? I have the following modifications on my 01 S281SC: Ported S2 blower Ported intake manifold 2.6 pulley S4 IC with air diversion kit to cover the gaps inbetween the ic and manifold Ported S5 inlet kit Densecharger fenderwell intake 90mm LMAF...

Roush Intercooler Running Hot - Need Help

The ic water pump may be working but it may also be leaking which could prevent how well it works. A leaking ic water pump is very common in saleens. Mine leaked and casued similar problems. After you get it fixed you can also put a "cold mix" instead of straight radiator fluid that will help it...

    Roush 2000-2004 S-281SC 1/4 mile time slips

I would have thought the "drag radials on pro stars" had helped you more. But still a 1.9 from a SC saleen is pretty good. Most SC saleen guys are pulling 2.1 to 2.3 60's due to having zero traction. 4 tenths of a second is pretty significant.

    Roush 2000-2004 S-281SC 1/4 mile time slips

Agreed... also altitude. I have also heard not all saleens 281 sc's are the same. Recently I had my intake manifold ported and I could not believe how poorly it was made. There is a rumor that several manifolds were messed up at the manufacturer and that is why some of the advertised hp numbers...

Roush Series 2, Need Parts Help...

I am running a 66mm or 2.6 inch pulley. Joe can make you one if you would like. Regarding the rest of your missing parts... It looks like you are missing more than you have. I'm assuming you bought the kit used? I would contact Casey at Haney Motorsports.

Roush Series 2, Need Parts Help...

Soon I will have some spare parts for the series 2 kit. I just bought the s5 inlet kit so I have several s2 items for sale that I will post shortly... like an s2 ported plenum, 80mm maf, 30lbs injectors, air intake and piping, as well as the egr piping. I also have the stock pulley and belt.

    Roush Saleen Idle Problem!

There are 2 hoses on the back of the blower. (actually the plenum) It sounds like one of them has fallen off or is very loose.
