    Check the A/C with the engine cold... if the problem is the blend door, the A/C will work OK for a short while until the coolant gets hot...

    Get your tach to show the coolant temperature real time... I have done it and my car has gotten up to 108 celsius thats 226 degrees F with no problem at all... As Bobhyatt said... thats pressurized (twice the atmospheric pressure) and not vaporization will occur... warping will occur IF you add...

    Heating A/C Problem

    Blowing under the windshield is the default position when there is no vacuumm at all. Maybe the main vacuum supply line got damaged or disconnected. Have you checked all vacuum lines on the engine bay side going in the car through the firewall? Maybe it got disconnected while doing some engine work.

    I think your car (as mine does) has a reusable gasket. When you got everything back together, you refill via the dip stick tube. Assess how much oil you drained and add less than this amount slowly. Turn on the engine and follow the procedure on the owners manual to check trans fluid level this...

    I think I had this failure in the past... first, voltage gauge started to go down, then all instruments cluster started going crazy... THEFT light, ABS light,... all lights started flashing, going on... off... crazy... then the car died... After a while I got it jump started, everything fine...

    If you cannot reroute the stock hose away from the headers, reuse the aluminum connectors to reassemble a new hose (maybe longer) routed well away from the headers... replacing stock pieces in the A/C system will change the refrigerant requirement (weight)... but if you don't get A LOT away from...

    GT Timing Chain in the 4.6L

    Mine is almost 135,000 miles and everything is O.K... I change oil and filter every 5,000 miles... How do you tell the chains need to be changed? chain noise? engine timing not O.K.? I don't know... I expect they will start making some noise after seizing!

    Of course, after doing this check all the fuses and relays... there is a fuel pump relay on the CCRM that can fail... use a test light to see if there is voltage in the fuel pump connector... it there is not, check fuses, relays and CCRM...
