    Vortech Supercharger

Undisputed, I watched your vid. Sick bastards! I especially liked the Pontiac peeling sideways heading down the street. I wonder what the drivers in the oncoming traffic were thinking.

    Procharger cams

That's strange because I installed a Procharger on my '05 with the 3 core cooler with the stock bumper cover and an aftermarket cover. I even fabbed up my own cooler brackets to mount it 2 inches lower with no problems except a little bumper material had to be trimmed because I lowered the...

    cams

BBR cams are ground by Comp. Just buy their billet cams and stay away from their regrind junk.

    2005-2010 mustang?

That's correct ^ The later engines have a better design for the plugs. One piece that won't break when removing them. The older design is fine as long as you pull and apply silver anti seize periodically.

    SCT2 Tuners in Maryland?

They only deal with diablo, but they can tune sct if your car is there on the dyno.

    Shelby short throw shifter question

I don't know anybody with one. You might take a look at the MGW shifter. I can safely say it's the highest rated shifter by far.

    UMI Performance

They have been around for a while. I've been to their tent at some NMRA events and I have bought a few items from them without issue. My son is going to buy their billet catch can this week coming up.

    Procharger cams

Comp has some real nice blower grinds. I would call them and discuss your set up and make a decision that way.

can I reprogram my SCT tuner from my diesel to work for my stang??

NO, even different year stangs require different tool. For example '05-'06 uses a different Diablosport predator than '07-'08 stangs.

help me choose: Roush tvs vs Kenne bell stage 2

I've got a Whipple and here's my opinion between the Roush TVS and the KB. The TVS is a killer set up with serious low end torque. That new compressor rotor design along with the case works very efficiently. It won't make quite the power in the higher rpm range as the KB and it won't offer the...

    stock cluth life

Rev matching is the best way to slow the car down in combination with the brakes. I've driven well over a million stick miles and get on average about 175,000 miles on a stock vehicle's clutch while using the rev matching method which also really saves the brakes too.

    No more FRPP 4.10s?!

The A was referring to Auburn being the manufacturer and M for Motive as far as I remember. I might be mistaken though. It's been a while since it was explained to me.

    MGW Shifter

Oh, knock it off Nasty:nono: Your original MGW shifter should stay right where it's at.

    MGW Shifter

Here's another update for you. They just got a little lighter, cheaper, and the re-design is supposed to shift even better than the original. http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums/2005-2009/155283-brand-new-mgw-shifter-design-2005-2009-mustangs.html

Auto to Manual Trans ''How to'' guide

THIS IS THE CONTINUATION OF THE MANUAL: Remove the passenger's side inner fender well rear half. It's very easy and takes a couple of minutes. Once it's removed you will see where the main wiring harness goes through the firewall. On that rubber grommet where the harness goes through you will...

Auto to Manual Trans ''How to'' guide

THIS IS THE CONTINUATION OF THE ''HOW TO'' MANUAL...I WILL BE EDITING AND ADDING TO THIS REPEATEDLY OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS OR WEEKS. This manual is for '05-'06 mustang gt swap. Newer cars require a slightly different approach. Remove auto transmission, flexplate, shifter (save all small nuts...

400 HP AT THE WHEELS ALL MOTOR,"YES"!!

200 lbs? You are way off! I would guess that my Whipple may have added 65-70 lbs to the front end. In addition to that a dual pass heat exchanger really drops intake temps with a PD blower not to mention all the bottom end power you'd pick up for coming out of the twisties.
