    Yeah....after being told I could do it without a problem, I cut it :( But I reattached the wires and and put electrical tape on them. Hopefully a cd player harness will still work. If not, I guess im SOL

    What could I get for my car that will be affordable and would get me great handling? Just wondering here. I was looking into making my Mustang a handling monster...instead of trying to make it fast because it's a four-banger :p

    Good clutch kit

    I just went to AutoBone and picked up a cheap Dynapack clutch kit. It had the pressure plate, clutch disk, alignment tool, and the pilot bearing. If you're lucky, unlike I was, your pilot bearing wont be seized inside of your crankshaft and is not moving.

    What are the major reasons why turboing a dual-plug 4-cylinder Mustang is a bad thing? I've heard NOT to turbo one, but I've also heard that people have done it before with success. I'm a little confused here.

    Make sure the teeth on the timing belt aren't chewed off. That might solve your problem.

    Well, if it makes a loud "tinc" when you turn the key, then the starter is probably not turning over the seized flywheel. That's how my Mustang was and I went out and bought a brand new mini-starter and it started right up! :D

    Took the Stang out for a drive tonight and found out that it's slipping in third gear. Can you guys give me any pointers on where to find a good clutch?

    Ok, problem solved. Turns out the wires weren't wrapped in electrical tape individually when the alternator was installed. The wires touched and caused the smoke. The car is fine now :D

    Well let's just say that this alternator has the wires that YOU connect YOURSELF to the old wires on the old alternator plug. I never touched them though and I know they were hooked up properly because it's been running fine lately.

    The thing is, the alternator is BRAND SPANKING NEW! I'm having it looked at today. If I don't solve this problem, the Mustang is getting sold because I've got my eyes on a 93 Thunderbird LX.
