    Mach 1 chin spoiler..

I used the push pins that came with the chin but I also used some self tapping screws at the wheel wells and in the middle for added strength. Also when installing you have to line up the spoiler at the wheel well if you don't want the gap there. It won't fit flush in front though. It will be...

Warranty Coverage on a Used 03 GT

A ford dealer is a ford dealer. If it really is a factory defect it will be covered under the ford warranty at any dealer. First they have to determine it is a factory defect. I had a similar problem in the past with a ford vehicle with a paint defect and the dealer tried to tell me cause I was...

need advice on buying 2000 vert GT

Not at all, if your happy with your ride and what you paid that's great. My only point was not to give too much profit to a dealer. I have family in the car business and I have always worked a dealer on their number for any car I've purchased. A good deal is if you walk away happy with what you...

need advice on buying 2000 vert GT

Kelly Blue book is $17,315 retail and $11,765 wholesale on the car you described. Try to find out what this broker paid for the car and offer him a small profit over his cost. Otherwise, if you really like the car $15,000 isn't a bad price for a 2000 with low miles and everything checks out o.k...

what are the best springs give even drop all around ???

It's a totally personal choice which springs to go with. I've driven cars with a 2" drop and compared to my eibach pro kit I thought the ride was a bit to harsh for my taste. The pro kit will give you a good drop (up to 1.5") and even with my 18's, a solid firm ride without being to rough. I...

$500 to spend need some advice

Any time you lower your ride you will sacrifice some ride quality. It is a firm ride but not rough. The only time a feel it is rough is if I hit a big pothole. There's not alot of give, but the handling is so much better than stock an occasional bump doesn't bother me at all. What made a big...

The Tri-ax handle and the 3 bears.

I haven't tried the pro 5.0 so I have no idea first hand how the two compare. Only what I've read re: other drivers. Just curious, cause I see alot of people swapping handles out...I'm pretty happy with the tri ax. No problems shifting in any gear. I love how I can just slap it into each gear.

    Thoughts on 75k powertrain warr.

Dealer cost on a 6 year/75,000 mile warranty is $985.00. (In California.) Also it depends on what type of mods your going to do. Just cause your going to have some mods on your car doesn't mean your whole warranty will be voided. If you have an aftermarket exhaust it won't void warranty work on...

Why not buy the tri ax from the start and be done with it??? Pro 5.0 and tri ax are similar products...To each his own I guess.
