    Need Fender Flare Help!!

I have Maier Racing flared fenders and quarterpanels on my race car. http://www.maierracing.com I spent about $1100 or so on the fenders/quarterpanels, the price has gone up, I think. It's been a year or so since I put them on. I chose to rivet them to the chassis. Pretty simple installation...

It can work, but you have to have your motor balanced for 28oz (i.e. 28oz flywheel, etc)..

wanna buy WING for my coupe

What is your motivation behind the wing? If you are after increased downforce and want it to actually benefit the cars grip and stability at speed, your best bet is to go with an HP Motorsports Aluminum Wing (same wing is used on World Challenge cars). http://www.hpmotorsport.com I run a...

    How good is msd ignition?

Are you going to race the car? For oval, circle, road racing, autoX, I recommend a dual MSD 6AL configuration with HV blaster coils. You can then switch between ignitions should a coil go out or one of the MSDs fail. I've run this configuration for 16 months now (Quickcar.net) and have never...

    egr block off

UPRproducts.com makes the plate, it's made from billet aluminum (at least mine was, now I think they are stainless steel). It was $20 or so when I bought mine. YMMV Make sure you have a custom chip or modify your ECU so it doesn't use the EGR anymore. I have zero emissions devices on my race...

How do you install new motor mounts???

Use an engine hoist and do it right. Jacking the motor up by the pan can cause oil pan gasket failure (think about it, was the pan designed to hold the weight of the engine? The answer is no). If you can't afford a hoist, have a professional do the install.

please help, think my stang is on its last leg

The sound is probably detonation or a lifter. Make sure you balancer is in good shape (i.e it's possible it's spun) and if not, replace it with an SFI-appoved balancer from ATI, IW, or Fluidampr.

Life expectency of a super charger

I like Paxton/Vortech (same company now). I'd say a Vortech S-trim or Paxton NOVI 1K or 2K are the most reliable blowers on the market, at least in my experience. I don't drag race, but I do a lot of road racing/autocross and I've never seen an S-trim or 1K/2K fail unless they were defective...

Can i fit a 17x10.5 rim on my fox..

I run 17x12 with hoosiers front and rear on my 93 cobra race car. It has Maier Racing flared fenders though. Check out www.maierracing.com. I spent about $1100 on the fenders - front and rear.

Car idles very rough and shuts off?

Is it overheating too? If you have a reliable gauge, I'd double check that. A bad fuel pump will cause the temps to climb and eventually shut off when the EEC pulls timing.

    5l conversion

Your best bet is to go with the Baer "M2300K Killer" at www.baer.com or dndmotorsports.com I installed the Baer 13" tracks on the front and 12" sports on the rear. It cost me $2100.00 but it was worth it to save time and frustration that would cause me to lose motivation.

A bunch of handling questions for the experts

It all depends on how far you want to go and how much money you have to spend. Call Jack at Maximum Motorsports and he can put together a budget-conscious package that will make your 88 out handle just about anything on the road. He can even set up installation stages if you can't afford...

A bunch of handling questions for the experts

In my opinion there are only two manufacturers worth your time and effort: Griggs and Maximum Motorsports. www.griggsracing.com www.maximummotorsports.com

Engine mounts? Solid, Poly, Stock? And Why?

I have the HPM Severe Duty 3/4" Drop Mounts (Solid) and they are amazing. More hood clearance (blower) and slightly improved handling due to the lower center of gravity.
