    Intake/Cam on stock engine

If your a month or two out, buy it all as one kit and be done. As far as your question, personally I would leave the stock cam in as long as you are using the stock heads. I would add an intake such at the street heat or Edelbrock performer, 73-76mm maf, CAI, and a 65-70mm throttle body to...

    Help pulling engine

If you do happen to use an intake lift plate, make sure you buy GRADE 8 bolts to use. Don't ask me how I know grade 5 won't work :) I now use a grade 8 in the front accessory hole and one in the rear of the head to pull it out with.

393 STROKER WILL STOCK COMPUTER WORK

Get it tuned asap. I've been there and done that and with my Pro-M maf and 42's, the car ran so rich that it washed the rings out right off the bat when I ran mine. It forced a rebuild on my brand new high $$$ 418. Personally I will never fire up a new combo unless I have my wideband...

    C4 install help needed PLEASE!!!!!!

Sure if your rear gearing is soft enough or you don't mind the increased rpms. I currently run 4.30's and the rpms are a bit to steep for a lot of extended street driving and I wouldn't even think of stepping on the express way with it. But with a set of 3.55's it would be alright.

Anybody with a Torque Arm/ Panhard bar?

My buddy runs I believe the Griggs heavy duty torque arm set up on his 92gt. Seems to do alright. I know he really likes it. I've never driven it with the arm so I couldn't tell you first hand though. I believe it was pretty expensive by the time he had a shop finish the install and...

Just got my wisdom teeth out.

I got all four out at once. Not big deal although I still have the holes that never filled in. I was cutting tree linbs that afternoon. Just don't drink from a straw or anything else that could cause a dry socket. That's when you pain will begin.

    C4 install help needed PLEASE!!!!!!

I installed the C4 and jacked the transmission up into place. I then installed my crossmember and took the 3/8" plate (that I had already drilled to fit the tranny mount bolts) and marked it out from the tranny to the crossemember. I then cut off the excess plate and just welded it to the the...

    Are these parts useable???

Well IMO judging by what you have said. Unless your pump blew up and threw chuncks in your converter I wouldn't think the converter is hurt, it sounds like something inside your tranny or valve body to me? If I were you I would take it to a tranny shop and have them diagnose the failure. You...

Here are my compression test #'s 89LX

All depends on what it specs out at.. You may get away with a hone and rering, you may need to bore it out again and buy new pistons and rings. Your machine shop will measure and spec it out for you and suggest what you do or don't need. If it's me a rebuild means at the very least, hot...

    Quick question on setup

8.5:1 sounds good.. That's a nice blower compression. I may back down the juice though. But that's me, I'm not a big fan of double power adders. You didn't mention what your power goal is with it. But if it was mine, I would consider the performer heads too small. If your building a Dart...

Here are my compression test #'s 89LX

With the 130 being almost 30lbs lower than your highest, I personally would start planning for a rebuild. The fact that you added oil and it went up I would think points to the rings. If it had stayed the same I would have looked into valve train.

    Are these parts useable???

well can't really tell you what is wrong with it, but if the parts aren't damaged you could definately sell them 50-60% of the cost of new is what I useally go for when selling/buying. I have had a converter let loose and take the pump out with it. Broke under power and made a big clunk and I...

    Are these parts useable???

I think you should just throw them out. Infact send them to me and I'll dispose of them properally for you :) I believe the converter should work as long as your new Lentech is a lock up. V/B I guess you wouldn't need with the new Lentech so I revert back to my first sentence on that part:)

    ideal head for my 331

I'd stick with an 185cc range head. I may look into the TFS CNC'd 185's as well. But I think they are a bit more pricey?

    Dart heads

I run the CNC'd Pro 1 225cc on my 9:1 418ci. these heads are awesome IMO. From my understanding the quality out of the box are a bit better than the AFR's in the valve train area as well. I made 487rwhp N/A with screwed up rings, mild cam, and Vic Jr Spyder. I would guess that number is now...

do my dyno results sound right?

Sounds about right to me with your set up. I might have guessed somewhere in the 290-310 rwhp range with a manual. Was this a dynojet or mustang dyno?
