    The Mopar guys are the worlds most fanitical people about prefect as it came off the line restorations. Also this Cuda is one of 17.....how many others can be left??? And buying the car is one thing,it would have to cost $100K to restore this at the cheapest!!!!!

    I have a Mustang Steve unit that has a quadrant on the top of the pedal like a Fox car. It is adjustable up top and down on the fork to. It works great.

    BUT it does indeed have the VIN on it and with these cars having so few #'s on them at all it is used for a legal VIN as much or more than the ones on the aprons.

    I used a Lokar one in mine with the Lokar cable kit. I have a rear disc conversion and its kinda hard to pull but it works.

    Thats assuming the DMV even knows a 68 had one,and I am not convinced ALL 68's had them.

    A friend of mine has a 68 FB and it never had one but my Coupe does. I think some early production cars may not have had it on the dash.

    The Overhaulin guys did a SUPER job!! Chip adding the Fastback quarters/trunk to it was simply genus,that changed the whole attitude of the car.

    Lets back up here....the first question that should have been asked is,are your apron #'s still useable????? You said it was all in bad shape. If they are shot I would restamp the new part in the EXACT same spot after its replaced. If they are useable cutting them out and welding them in the new...
