    The Cobra IRS is 2" wider per side, or 4" longer overall compared to a 65/66 Mustang rear end. So, given that and the deep offset of the 17x9s, I didn't need wheel spacers in the rear. I didn't take any pics yet but looks something like this: The Mustang Shop - Photo Gallery

    I just bolted the 17x9s on my 66 today and the fronts of course stick out 1" with the spacers. I mocked up the IRS and the wheels out back also stick out about 1" without spacers. I think maybe with a 67-70 rear end the wheels would tuck a little more and clear back there.
