Review: Challenger R/T vs Camaro vs Mustang GT (Face off Link)

Yeah the camaro is a faster car, better brakes, etc. Ford's mustang has dominated their camaro for 6 years now.... oh wait, my bad, there wasn't a camaro for the last 6 years. GM got to plan out exactly what they needed to beat the mustang, Ford's answer to the new camaro with the 2010 stang...

    2007 Mustang MIL eliminator ???

I called up brenspeed after ordering these for my 07. The tech said it was about a 50-50 chance they would work because something changed on the 07+ stangs. All the 05 and 06 models will work with the eliminators. Get yourself tuned, that's the only way to get rid of you CEL. I know it's...

Yeah, there are meets about twice a month. I've only been to a couple, usually a good time though. Careful talking about street racing though around here, mods'll bust you down fast ;)

License plate holes in front, how to fix?

I put the screws in the holes and painted them with touch up paint to make them match the bumper. I know i've seen those interior fasteners big enough at homedepot or lowes, check it out and paint them with touch up.

    LOWERING?

FWIW Labor can be a pain in the ass if you've never done it. Spring compressors suck and the job can take a while if you're doing it yourself. However... it is a ton cheaper. In my case: Springs: $200 (FRPP) Struts/Shocks: $325 (Tokico HPs) Adj PHB: $80 (BMR) Alignment: $65...

New Camaro may be short lived!

I thought the speed3 shared the same underpinnings as the current 3? Too bad mazda around here wants too much for them. I'd much rather have that than the caliber srt4.

New Camaro may be short lived!

The current focus chassis is alright, with a few tweaks it can have pretty heroic handling. Closest thing we've got to a real focus though is the volvo c30. I test drove one and it was awesome. Firm, light on its feet, and rock solid. The turbo 5 is very smooth too. It's a shame the north...

New Camaro may be short lived!

GM is king of shared platforms.... you should really read up. All brands do this fyi. List of GM platforms - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Cobalt/G5/ion, aura/G6/malibu , equinox/torrent/vue, your beloved f-bodies firebird/camaro... the list goes on friend.

New Camaro may be short lived!

No doubt GM makes a good car once in a while. They put out garbage for so long though. It's crippled them now so badly that even when they do put something good out (G8, Z06, Solstice GXP, redline series, ss series etc), it's not enough to put them in the black. They should have been putting...

    New Shoes & Wheels (pic)

Awesome, nice choice. Can't go wrong with black bullitts on a black car. I may be a little biased to black wheels though ;)

    No new Camaro

:stupid: Seriously to all the people that say 'oh dear, we should all be sad that GM is going under...' who do you think shot themselves in the foot? Yeah people losing their jobs is not good news, but they asked for the bail out, they drank the water, now they're not in control of their...

Need advice. Long tube headers no cats...but want quiet.

Seconding this, they flow great sound good. I have an OR pipe and stock manifolds, off idle if you take it easy and don't go crazy it won't set off any car alarms.

    6.2L BOSS motor being released!

Call it wishful thinking, but Ford did the same thing with the Boss 429 back in 69. They had to seriously modify the car to fit that nascar engine in there. It would be cool to parallel those lines in history with the current car. Here's hoping they re-create the boss mystique and legend with...

    wheel poll

My vote would be #3. I'm partial to black wheels though. I've seen the chrome version of these on a saleen and they look great.
