    Yea maybe I just found a good deal. What's he asking for it? I don't like to just make blind offers on stuff like that. I would like to see what he's asking first to get an idea of what he wants for it and then you can go with what you'd like to pay.

    For just a regular T-5 no thanks. You can pick one up at the junkyard or on ebay and rebuild it yourself for half that. I picked up a 302 and T-5 combo for $450 a year and a half ago.

    Just get any starter that's compatible with an early model C4 transmission. I'm using a Powermaster high torque mini starter in my T-5. It's made for my original C4 but works and fits perfectly with the T-5 as well.

    So I bought 2 wiring harnesses off of Ehay from the same person who stated one was a '90 and one was an '89. I'm looking at both received and one still has a tag which identifies it as a '90 so that's fine. The thing is the other harness appears exactly identical to the one with the markings...

    Also you should see if you can get the heads from the '96. They're GT40's and would be a great upgrade for your stock 289ers.

    He can't use this on his 289 unless he switches to the HO cam. The idle will be poor. all 87-93 mustangs had the HO (351w) firing order. Your best bet is to just buy a new cam for the 289 with the HO firing order then you can do that above. I know this because I'm currently putting a 5.0...

    Also I think 1989 is a better year for me because the wiring harness doesn't have all the extra sensor requirements for stuff like airbags and whatever else came around after 1990 like I've been reading about. Basically I just want the easiest swap of the EFI into my classic for the cheapest price.

    Mass air to Speed Density?

    Make sure on the MAP sensor that you removed the vacuum fitting and capped the line off to the engine so you don't lose vacuum. That might be a problem. The MAP sensor is used to evaluate air density or something when used on the MAF instead of engine vacuum I think.

    True but at the very least I wanna swap the cam and possibly heads correct? Would the e7te pistons have valve reliefs like the HO for a slightly larger cam?
