    Steeda Stainless Steel Brake Sleeves

Ash, you are so right about the 4-cyl brakes. That is the next upgrade for me for sure. I was trying to stop quickly the other day and it took way too long to slow down. I got really worried about that car getting bigger in front of me. I don't know if I will upgrade to the 5.0 brakes first...

    Anlushac: Carb Turbo Blowoff?

On the carb turbo intake manifold there is a little kinda like a popup valve that broke on my car 15 years ago. So I put in a bolt and just stopped it up. It is a pressure relief of some sorts though and I was thinking it performed the blowoff function for a carb turbo although they were not...

    Smog Check Woes

Went to get a smog check last week. Now my car is now 25 years old and so until last year would NOT have had to get one. But the CA legislature extended the smog check program in California to 30 years. DOH! Anyway went to the first place and I knew things would not go smooth when they said...

2004: the year I wish never happened

I see the point though and will never take the chance again. As far as taking cabs, blah, blah, I do know that when you're drinking you never think of stuff like that. You have to make the decision before you drink for the night. I hear all the messages loud and clear, however and have made...

    IS ANYONE RUNNING PROPANE INJECTION?

Propane injection replaces gas as your fuel source if I think I know what he is talking about. I've also seen diesel engines converted to run on strictly propane fuel. Don't know if it can be done with gas engines. What I run (Water/methanol) injection supplements 91 octane gas fuel during...

2004: the year I wish never happened

Here's what happened to my in '04 so far. * Got busted for DUI (I did'nt test so they are counting it as a refusal) * DMV wants to take my license for a year (find out in hearing in 2 weeks) * Paid $1750 Court fine * $400 DUI first offender classes (18 3-hour sessions) * Lawyer fees $3750...

    4 cyl dual exaust

I had duals put on, but I think they serve a useful purpose. I added a 3" downpipe and cat from my turbo a few months. The 3" output of the cat goes directly to where the "Y" weld is at the y pipe. The y pipe splits to dual 2.5" tails. I did not want to run one 3" single exhaust out of the...

    3.73 gears

Just won an Ebay auction for some 7.5" 3.73 gears and received them today. Was wondering if I would have to change the speedometer gear? If so, how can I find out what gear I need?

    dual exhaust

I think what was meant is that you need to extend the rubber line, that goes from the body frame rail to the axle, about 3-4 inches and make it a braided steel brake hose. This will enable you to loop the line away from the exhaust and give you a bit more clearance. I had this done on my dual...

    O2 sensor/bung

Hmmm. Maybe I'm not being clear enough. I need to know if I can use a Autometer Cobalt Air/Fuel gauge in conjunction with an O2 sensor or an air/fuel sensor. Is there any other equipment needed? Is it simply hooking the guage up to the sensor that I would mount in the exhaust stream somewhere?

    O2 sensor/bung

I suppose I should have said that I want to have an air/fuel guage in the car that shows me what the air/fuel mixture is. The other end of the guage is the O2 sensor, no???
