    odd idle

    when i come to a stop the engine dips down to about 600 and i can feel the vibrations prety bad and if its night the lights will dim, but it doesnt seem to do this with the a/c on, or if the engine is cold. whats the deal? its a '93 5spd

    2.3 wont heat up

    my '93 reads at the "A" on the guage, i allways thought it was normal, it has a new radiator and thermostat and 50/50 coolant with no leaks in the system.

    fixed it, it aprears that the car was hotwired in the past, the wires were all messed up down there, i just replaced them all and it fixed it

    ok, i got the new starter/ clutch interlock switch in there and still wont turn over. this ones a real headscratcher. if i cant figure it out by tomarow im going to take it in.

    starting problem

    i took a current tester to the only 2 plugs on the clutch safety switch while the clutch was fully pushed in, and nothing. so i think its that, i ordered one form autozone but it wont be in untill friday so ill find out then if thats the problem.

    also i dont think its the ingition switch because when i turn the key to 'start' the amperage guage dips slightly like its functioning properly by closing the starter circuit.

    when i try to start, it does nothing, doesnt turn or even click like the battery is dead (its not though). however i can start it by turning the key to "on" and taking off the top positive cable to the starter silinoid and taking jumper cables to that and the positive battery terminal. the car...

    talk to people who you would like to sponsor you mabey? they wont just hand you free stuff though, you have to show it in events and such. I had KC sponsor my old 4x4 ranger and i got a free light bar for the cab and 4 lights for %75 off, but i had to show the truck every so often.

    i prefer stick over auto just for the fun factor, i have an auto in my gt and a 5sp in the lx. i drive the lx in heavy down town traffic and i dont mind at all, once you get used to it its second nature.

    especially when going into 2nd and 4th. i cheched the fluid. my brother told me to use lucas oil stabalizer in the tranny. any other sugestions?

    for best acceleration on a stock '93 n/a 2.3? It seems to pull equally from 3k to redline and i havnt been able to find any power curves for these cars. im stumped
