oem ford cable or aftermarket? also after just one burnout? i would look to see how much slack in the pedal with it being a slock setup as far as adjusting. im not sure though if the cables are different lengths from the years....someone else will chime in there

dont use an air based tool for the buffer!!!!!!!!!!!!! unless it is rpm regulated.....that will be the fastest way to burn right through your paint. just pony up $299 for a rpm adjustible dewalt and you'll be plenty happy with that purchase

Tell me what you thing.... Any Paint Experience!! Would be Helpfull!!!

another thing is flash times. usually 15min is all that is needed between coats. and on the clear. to get it ultra smooth (with clear) on the last coat with as little orange peal as can be, do a double coat, no flash time. do the entire car then re-do immediately. if u use to much IT WILL RUN...

Nasty snot-substance buildup in intake! AAHH!!

take the time to do it right...trust me. after rebuilding the last engine cuz of all the crap i had in the engine and the hg not sealing good enough. you'll save yourself a huge hassle in the long run. plus the bearings, rings and gaskets you'd keep paying for. but there is nothing like good...

if you dont want to buy the tool, just take a razor blade and put a small bend in it. now wrap some pieces of masking tape at both ends of the blade. now with nice smooth strokes take down the run as much as you dare. when its almost flush, take some 1000 grit paper and wrap it round a paint...
