    Should i mod my mustang?

YES!!! you should modify it. but first upgrade the brakes. and change to V8 spindles. its worth it even if you try to squeeze power out of a 200 inline 6. more power will always require more braking power. i cannot support the idea of putting a 200 6 in the car with a t5 it would cost the...

    Electronic Fuel Pump

i 've got to agree with the majority on this. put a mechanical back on. electric pumps are not required for a NA carb engine and i am certain it will cause you a significant amount of headaches. should you absolutely positively need an electric pump get a A1000 and regulator and run at least...

    my hyd. clutch install

with the demise of JMC I thought this might be useful for some other people who want to put a hydraulic throwout bearing in their early mustang. i purchased the 1400 series bearing from McCleod and the Willwood master cylinder as well. i made the hyd. line and bought a 5/16 rod end from summit...

    JMC Motorsports...gone?

i think you maybe able to get the master cyl that would normally come with the JMC kit from CNC. i found out about that after i got the Wilwood cyl. after installing the wilwood i actually like the way it fits better than the JMC kit. i did have to cut a section of the firewall out and weld a...

few pics of my explorer rear disc brake setup

thought i share this. the explorer rear disc brakes are cheap, decent and have a parking brake setup that i really like. however it is a bit of a challenge to install them on a early mustang. the tabs for the flex hoses needed to be welded to the housing, and i relocated the main flex hose to...

    Supercharger Questions

i've got a procharger p600b. got a pulley from March for the waterpump. had to modify the ford cheapy chrome alternator bracket. and used the 5.0L procharger crank pulley. line everything up and you should be good to go. i used the A1000 for a fuel pump and changed to a fuel cell and EV bonnet...

    JMC Motorsports...gone?

yes indeed, i was extremely lucky that i was not ready to order their kit. two weeks after i spoke with them initially about the kit for a t5 they told me they could not sell me the kit and that they will no longer be selling to the public. at least they were nice enough to tell me that you...

    Exhaust fitments

it fits, i was running dynomax stainless LX pipes for a long time, but they were only 2 1/4" now i must upgrade to 3" and i know thats gonna be tricky to fit under a 65. all you have to do is cut off the Fox body hangers and use some regular old school hangers/clamps. once i got it...

    Phoenix Gold Amp?

i have a Octane 2.5:2 powering a single Octane 12R dvc and i am impressed with it. for the money PG makes some good stuff. However, its no longer made in the USA and doesn't have gold plated circuit boards like the originals. but it looks and sounds pretty good.

Anybody heard anything about this carb style EFI?

i saw this setup at Carlisle Ford Nationals this year, and i really liked the design. they claimed it would work great for Blow thru turbo or supercharging and since i have a Blow thru setup it really caught my attention. for some one contemplating a turbo or supercharger upgrade the price of...

    HEI for 302

MSD is vastly superior to the duraspark. i had a duraspark and its inibility to adjust ingnition advance curves makes it a poor choice for a performance engine. In addition to that there are very liberal tolerances which cause the rotor to rise at high rpm again causing erratic performance. i...

yeah, dynomax are pretty good, magnaflows are too. i'd suggest any straight flow thru muffler. no chambered ones.
