    19lb injectors or 24lb

    i put down 244whp and 290wtq with 19lbs with out heads or a cam. if your setup is matched really well with h/c/i you will need more then what 19s will be able to give at 100% d/c . at the same time "upgrading" to 24s to soon will put them out of there efficiency range to low.

    so i was down at the track this weekend to watch and help out with the scca races. and i saw a green bullit Gt running in T3 i think his best time was a 1:30.and some change. and there was also a sti there in T2 running i think 1.29s when T2 and T3 were on the track it looked like a track day...

    Hmm my 88 gt runs enrichment untill 180 thats why i could not run a 178 t stat and my bmw is like185 gauge in the bmw was right where it was supose to be but when i hooked a scanner to it and read out the temp it was about 15* below normal.

    a thermostat thats easy to open or stuck open will keep the car in warm up enrichment. my bmw was ave 24 per tank then the thermostat went bad and went down to 18. also low air pressure in the tires can cause poor gas milage my 5.0 saw a 4 mpg increase going from 30 to 35 in all tires.

    i personally like track cars for the street im driving my race car at the moment. but im not sure a vr4 would be a cost efective track car. so id fix it and keep driving it. and take it drag racing every once and a while and some open tracking too.     but i was there today today (friday) testing my water bottle racecar which it ened up running 16.2 @ 85 fastest stock that ive found is 16.4@81 and mine now has 304k on it.
