Want to lower 08 a tad without issues.

I wanted the same thing, a slight lowering with no add-on issues. As they said above, sprping and shocks/struts work together and would not recomment springs without matching shocks. I went with the Stedda Ultralights and their non-adjustable shocks. I am quite happy with the combo. It...

    3.31 and 3.55 gear question

Attached is a Excel spread sheet that I found on-line someplace that lets you calc the rpms for different gears. For both transmission and rear gears. Hmm.. It would seem that I can't upload a .xls file. I simply renamed the file to have a .txt extension so just rename it gears.xls and you...

    Review: tbirddmnd Hoodliner

That's mine next to Kooldawg's. As he mentioned, not entirely happy with it. I switched over for the same reason you did, because the factory liner was up against the air intake, and not is is rubbing on the engine cover. :( I am getting pretty close to just pulling it off an leaving it off...

    what oil are you running?

I read some place (don't know how accurate it was) that the Ford racing filter is not really suitable for a street car. It was designed for oil flow, not for keeping the oil clean.

    Aftermarket Spring Installation

+1 on all of the advice. I just did the springs and struts thing myself in my garage by myself. It was pretty much straight forward. Just took time as I really haven't done any mechanic type work for some time. Brought a jack and some stands and went to it.

I'm being quoted $700-800 for gear swap?!

I just had Ford Motorsport 4.10s put in :D. Total price to include parts and labor was $400. It was a group buy so a little bit discounted. Full price should not be over $450 - $500. Anything else is a rip off.

    The '08 Vert Has Arrived

+1 on the Vert. I love mine.:D I wouldn't call the factory mufflers "whisper" quite, but they certainly don't announce a Mustang coming down the road. I just put on the FRPP GTA mufflers. Definitely better, but still not really loud. Quiet at idle and steady speed. Wakes up some...

    Please Post Your Gas Mileage

I drive mine to / from work over city roads for about 7-8 miles each way. Not necessarily stop and go, And while I like to accelerate faster then most others, I still take it mostly easy. And I average 14.4 - 14.4 mpg, and I only have less then 2K miles so far. I even put back on the factory...

The "premier trim" package with stitched leather dash etc.

I have that package, and while it seem'ed kinda expensive, it looks nice and I'm sure that over the long run that it makes the interior look nicer. So I'm glad I got it.

    Best Cold Air Intake

I got the WMS with Brenspeed tune. Nice all around. the WMS is a little bit more involved to install, but it came with good instructions and all the pieces that were needed. I like the way it looks (different then the other CAIs) and it also does not require a tune. So if you need to revert...

Strut-Tower brace for 07 GT - Plenum Cover

I have the BMR brace and the factory plemun cover. It fits fine with no problem and without "lowering" the cover. there might be a slight impression on the hood liner from the brace, but it is rather unnoticeable.
