    Just saw thr original Gone in 60 Seconds

    Between Bullitt and the original Gone, Bullitt had more of a plot line where as Gone was basically written around the chase scene. Personally I like Bullitt better, McQueen is cool and I love the Highland Green '68 FB.

    How do I install '67 FB trunk spring rods?

    I bought my '67 FB with a fiberglass Shelby style trunk lid installed and it didn't have any springs (spring rods), fortunately I was able to find a nice used set on e-bay. How are these installed? Any assistance/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Convertible 1967 Eleanor Shelby clone ?

    I spoke with the owner/buyer and that car turned out to be a rustbucket with an Eleanor kit on it. On top of that it was unsafe and compeletly unroadworthy. He was screwed royal on that one.

    Help with steering options 67 fb 428

    My neighbor has a '67 GT500 with (shudder) TCP rack and pinion. He told me if he regrets not getting the power assist because the manual steering with the big block motor is brutal.

    attach Eleanor panel ?

    Foose did this on the Overhaulin' episode a couple of weeks back....I think the episode was called "ugly horse". If you watch closely, they actually had the complete Eleanor nose with a Shelby hood. In the end the only piece they ended up using was the lower valence.

    I think if you're not going to hold onto it very long, I voted for showroom stock. If you were going to keep it and drive and enjoy it for a while, the restomod route would've been my vote. Good luck!
