    If i remeber right, the 5.0 swap in a fox body is one of the few engine swaps the requires you to remove a fender ? :scratch: fuel lines or something i think

    :hail2: you can swap in a 2.3T for less then half the cost of a 5.0 swap and $2000 less then buying a used 5.0. If you find a good deal on a donnor car, you could be boosting for less then $600 easy.

    Somewhat. I've rebuilt engines "the right way" and i've done back yard shade tree rebuilds that make respectable power too. I haven't done the 2.3T swap yet, but if you can score a running 87-88 TC for $300 ( they are around here for that much), and can do some porting yourself, i dont see why...
