    I blew the original motor after about 15K running with the blower. See my Sig., I got a still in the crate Cobra Shortblock, And all OEM Cobra internals. In other words, everthing that should be Forged is Forged. With the 417rwhp I have figures out to be 490hp at the motor. ( 490 X .85 = 416.5...

    light bar function?

    I agree... I have a lightbar on my Vert, but it's not considered a roll bar or anything like that at the strip. You can't run a Vert that is faster then 13.49 at a NHRA sanctioned Strip. The one time I did take her to the strip, I ran a 12.37, and got the boot.

    Stalled at 120MPH

    That's weird... I had my car up to 165 and got off the gas, she just kept running. If you're wondering how I figured 165 when the speedo only goes up to 150, I used the tach.

    This probably doesn't mean crap for your application, but my guy who installed my Paxton 2000 insists that I change out the belt AND the plugs every 10,000 miles. I have let the belt go for 20,000 miles with no problems, but he was right about the plugs... I run one level colder than stock...

    Look at my sig. I have an 03 Vert. With the blower she runs like a raped ape. In the beginning I went for 373 gears, Magnaflow X pipe and catback, subs, springs, throttle body, intake..... They I got her blown in 2008.

    From what I hear on this Board, if you get a blower, "blower Cams" are the thing to do, but not essential. I don't have them, yet. With stock cams, you lose some boost on each exhaust stroke, while blower cams take care of that. Someone more knowledgable may wish to elaborate on this.

    390's are great for an N/A Mustang. My advice only, but if you trap more than 120mph, 390's are too much, unless you want to get into the whole tire diameter change, etc. I have 373's on my SC Mustang and she redlines at about 123mph in 4th gear, perfect for the 1/4 mile, since I hit in the area...

    Don't laugh, but the whole job cost me 7 large. Thats pulling the old busted motor, installing the new one, re - installing the SuperCharger, dyno tune, and all the other small **** needed. I had the money, so I didn't haggle too much, I just wanted my car back. Yes they are good for 750 hp...

    That's all fine and good, ever think about an animal running out in front of you? SN-95's get squirrelly north of 130-140, lack of downforce. Keep doing this and it's only a matter of time. May God bless you and keep you safe.

    2003 - 04 Cobra's come with 275/40 17's, that's why I went with that size once I got her S/C'ed. Also no rub.

    I also have Ford Racing Springs on my Mustang... I have 275/40 17's and they don't rub, but you got an inch more in height than I do. I just went out a looked, cranked the wheel all the way both ways, and from what I can see, if I was running 18's they would rub. My observation only, sir.
