    Can I use stock cam with 331 ??

    Ditto the above except I feel the thumper ported stock heads are going to be the limiting factor on a 331 instead of the cam. They should run fine on a AOD 306 setup with a mild torque cam similiar to my Crane 2030.

    If it's running worse then you F'd up the procedure. You, like me, got confused with the spinning pushrod crap. How much drags is too much etc. The whole thing about priming the oil system is unneccesary too if you just rock the rockers until they stop moving. Jamie

    With the cap off can you see the rockers down the hole? If so then the rockers are slinging oil up. Guy mistakenly take the baffle out to get more clearance for the rockers in stead of making a new flatter baffle. Check it out. Jamie
