    All the mods in your sig minus the dipstick(is that really a mod?) plus a 100 shot will put you ahead of a stock LS1 if you can drive. I am not going to go into modifications because the LS1 responds wonderfully to mods and they love spray and it takes very little to get them to run low 12's.

    Yes, the pb ones suck. I know there have been a few motors that went because the oil pump gears let go due to the UDP's(mainly piggyback ones) and high rpms.

    I am not a fan of UDP's on a 4v and don't run them due to the potential problems they have caused.

    You will need a tune for starters. The ECU still thinks there is a 2V motor in the car. You can remove the IMRC's but need a short runner intake and a 4.30-4.56 gear to make up for the low end torque loss.

    Best first mod is 4.30 gears Then Longtubes and exhaust Followed by short runner intake. There is more that can be done, but will require more $$

    Do not use them, they are garbage. SCT is one of the best, Diablo is another and many have had good results with Sniper.

    There is a lot of missing info. What is the car going to be used for? What kind of hp you looking for? Naturally Aspirated or Power adder and what HP levels? We will need more detail to steer you.

    He is going with a 4V motor in that car;) so he will benefit from 4.30 gears. 2V's work well from 4.10's as well. I had 3.73's in my old 97 GT and swapped them for 4.10's.
