    Tires & Wheels Woes!

I had similar issues with multi fit or often called uni lug Cragar wheels in the 1980's on a 65 mustang and haven't used them since, its a pretty cheezy system to mount a wheel. While I suppose anything's possible with tires these days but I never had a vibration issue with BFG's and would tend...

    Steering Components For 65

My 65 was downright scary to drive with Granada spindles, even with the Baer Tracker bumpsteer kit. I peddled the granada stuff on Ebay and went back to the stock spindles and aftermarket discs and couldn't be happier.

Progress Thread Swiss Cheese - 1965 Fastback Build Thread

While I'm of the mindset that every old mustang is worth saving and having done a few of them, I'd like to say that you guys will probably have more money invested into this project than the value of the car when its done, even doing the work yourselves. If its for the love of the project...

    1965 Mustang rust repair

I love my coupes and prefer to see as many survive as possible, but unless that car is something special I think far too much money is going to be spent saving it.

Integrated power steering isuzu pitman arm

The steering box in the pictures you posted looks identical to my Borgeson box. Borgeson cuts off the mounting tabs and welds a plate to the box with the mounting holes indexed properly. They also machine the sector shaft to fit the mustang pitman arm.

    Welds rusting

Epoxy in an aerosol can is no replacement for commercial 2 part epoxy. If your going to pull the winshield, dont cut corners by using rattle can paint.

    T-5 input shaft swap

Its about the simplest parts swap Ive ever done! Im running a T-5 from a 95 cobra paired up with a '92 Bellhousing. Swapping the input shaft took me about 20 minutes, I had a Junk '92 T-5 with the correct input shaft. The swap was almost too easy, I just unbolted the front bearing retainer...

    borgeson steering done!

Ive owned my car 10 years and havent put 1000 miles on it mostly due to the cumbersome manual steering, I installed the borgeson steering this spring and now I want to drive the car everwhere I go. Its gone from being a tiring car to drive to a complete pleasure, great turning radius and a solid...

Online story about my Super Stock Mustang

I live about 30min north of Jamestown in Dunkirk. Until the 1960's there was some serious drag racing action at the Dunkirk airport, Don Garlits Raced here in his early days.

    Which Saginaw pump?

The nipple on my pump sticks straight out too, Im told the early Borgeson kits did have them bent. Ive got some pretty extensive GM experience and I recall most all of the pumps had bent return nipples, Id think an F or G body pump from the 70's/80's would work just fine for you. Or try calling...

    ebay brake line kit

Thats just a bunch of straight brake line in various lengths, you'll need to make every bend and unless youre a good tube bender it'll be a ugly mess, besides the fact you can buy tubes just like that at NAPA. Any of the mustang vendors sell pre-bent lines for your car that install rather...

    POR 15 questions

Your friend gives sound advice! Also if your car is going to be a driver, its not a bad idea to spray something like sound deadener or a bedliner type material as a finish coat under the front fenders. it'll help reduce road noise resonating from the suspension thru the fenders and protect you...

cable or hydraulic clutch for T-5

I run the Mustang Steve cable kit, it works well but the cable routing is cumbersome. If I had it to do over Id go hydraulic, In fact I might change it anyway.
