    El crapo strut bushings, unbelievable!

    See attached photo. These supposedly urethane strut bushings have maybe 300 miles on them. I've never seen such a total failure. It's almost like they're made from ABS or something. Has anyone seen something like this? Should I be looking for a cause? Or chalk it up to crap parts?

    I've seen on Ebay, a plastic panel to use behind the stock bezel that holds standard Autometer componants. Nice idea but you loose some of that "classic" look.

    Nothing wrong with Old School looks. But I'm more interested in UV protection for the interior back there. The Willpak ones look good until they get to the bottom curved edge of the glass. They stop short and don't really cover the curved part. The last slat is wider to try to bridge the gap...

    I found the magazine, but the install is for the 69-70 stock replacement, not a 66. Oh well, thanks anyway I'll keep looking for someone that's done it. There's got to be somebody out there.
