    The only difference I know of is the some of the 99 and 00 models (both coupe and vert) used a different spoiler than the 01+. The mounting points were wider on the earlier models. Do an image search to see differences.

    I believe there is an adjustment cable or screw stop that may effect the drooping rails. Search for how to install a new top and read thru for adjustment instructions.

    Battery should be 14.5 volts when running. I would check the battery and alternator at a local parts store......it is free.

    Drain and clean the original tank. Purchase a very small fuel cell....2-4 gal......and mount in trunk. Simply run the car dry when parking it and drain the fuel cell of the small amount of gas left.

    If you are having a shop do the install and tune, see what they prefer and are most comfortable dealing with. If you are doing the install, read up on different kits to see what you are comfortable with. There are numerous brands that are good, just research and see what you like best.

    I drive a 2000 F150 Lightning....love that supercharger.....low maintenance.....always ready to play.....thinking of one for my 2002 Mustang also but gotta get the cash availble first. Also drive a 2011 F150 3.5 TT ecoboost.....hate that turbo lag but once it is in, it does move down the road...

    I am assuming this is a street car.... Turbo is ready anytime you want to play....once spooled up.... NOS needs the bottle opened, cooled, filled... What about a supercharger.....no lag ready all the time and the whine can be intimadating to some...

    In my wiring, the high beam load is only changed by the low amount needed to activate the relay. The low beam then gets a new supply wire from the battery that is only used when the lights are switched to high. When low beam is needed, it reverts to the original wiring.

    You could use a rely that gets it activation power from the high beam wire at one headlight. Once the relay activates when the high beams are on, you would supply power thru the relay from the battery to the low beam side. This would power both beams plus give you he low beams only for oncoming...

    Depending on where the wire broke at......can you just solder the original back together? If not, look for a good one in a junk yard. You might see if there is a point where it plugs into another harness to save soldering.

    Best bet is to find some on a car lot and test drive them. Everyone has a different view of comfort in these cars. I am 6'3" and 280.....I am more comfortable in the convertible models personally.

    I reach for my seatbelt down low, using my left hand in the drivers seat.....no problem. In fact, I have removed those retainers because they hit the light bar when the seats are reclined. Moving them forward on a plate might get into your shoulder if you got rearended.

    How far have you driven since filling the tank? Drive it 100 miles and fill it and note what the gauge does. Drive it 200 miles next time and fill....see the gauge action if any. You have 15.5 gals total I believe so use your trip meter as a guage until you see how the gauge reads thru the range...

    Check your battery condition. Gauges bouncing like that when the key is turned to on is a good indicator of near death of the battery.
