    Something to considor while waiting for 05

    Remember, this car uses a monocoque(spelling) chassis, made of exotic materials, not metal. The hit looks hard enough that it was probably damaged. The suspension pieces are carbon fiber, again, probably trashed. It is not just cosmetic damage, slap on a few body panels and she's good as new...

    Great, 300 grand for a wreck. You have any idea how much it will cost to fix that on top of the 300 grand? You could buy a new one cheaper than what it will take to save that one. Parts alone will be expensive as hell, and how many places are certified to do the repair right in the US? 3 or 4...

    Why is FORD keeping the 05's roped up!

    Can't get in the silver one at the chicago show either. It's set up in a revolving display with glass around it, arm rest height.

    Chicago auto show this febuary, Who's going?

    I was there friday night. Only 05 stang is a GT with stripes, no other variations. No vert, no V6, no special version. No, saleen didn't have an 05 either. :( Working on loading pics from show so I can post them on boards. Display is nice though, the "trilogy" of stang, cobra(roadster), and ford GT.

    Just got back in from friday nights showing. Only one 05 stang there, the silver with white stripe GT.

    Damn clam shell displays at ford's booths blocking most of the views inside their display. :( Been scanning them since sunday. The shelby roadster showed up, the ford gt is there, haven't spotted one 05 stang yet. Bro tells me the silver and white stripe 05 is cruising to various media places...
