    smoke headlights

    I think my husband used a car polish/scratch remover to take off the ugly yellow stuff. He took all of it off his headlights on his '90 5.0. So it's worth a try if you have some lying around in your garage.

    I can't recall that well, but I believe you need the entire headlight assembly to get that smoked look. I looked at the assembly when my lights were being taken apart so that the amber reflectors could be removed. It was a very painful experience by the way. :(
